God brought Pastor Terry to serve as Alpha's Senior Pastor in October 2007.  Pastor Terry grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. God called him into ministry as a High School Senior, and Pastor Terry has served as Senior Pastor of three churches during his ministry.  Pastor Terry has a passion to see the church make and mold disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.

When did God call you to serve at Alpha?
I began my ministry at Alpha in October 2007.

What are the names of your spouse and children?
Jeana Kirby
Hannah Kirby and Savannah Kirby

Please briefly describe how you came to follow Jesus Christ.
While talking to my pastor as an eight year old boy, I understood that I was a sinner and needed a Savior. At that point, I asked Jesus Christ became my Lord and Savior.

Please briefly describe how you were called to serve as a Minister.
When I was a High School senior, God specifically called me to be a preacher during a revival service at First Baptist Church, Concord in Knoxville.

First Baptist Church, Dover, TN 1994-1999

What is your favorite Bible verse or passage?
"But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. " - Matthew 6:33

What gives you the most joy as you serve God in ministry?
To see the transformation of people by clearly communicating God’s Word.
